| Hello Hans, If you take good care of your 1.9 diesel it will last many more years - I think the 8 valve 1.9 PD engine was the best diesel VAG have yet produced. UK dealers here are very poor and some neglect basic maintenance such as air filter element replacement (really important on a turbocharged engine to avoid oil burning via the engine breather) and manual transmission oil level checks (because it's a bit awkward to get to and they're on a time bonus). If you do your own maintenance with help from this site, your Superb should last a long time. Hope we can help. rotodiesel. |

| You are indeed the World Champions and I was in Stockholm last year to watch the final which was very tight..... I play 'Innebandy' (Floorball) for Great Britain Floorball Team but unfortunatly we are not as good as you Scandinavians..... Cracking game to play though and I have many Finnish, Swedish, Czech, Dutch, Swiss and Australian friends through playing the sport within Great Britain.... Anyway......welcome to the forum....
