| Briskodian | Not a fake wood fan My Superb Elegance has the wood effect centre console of which I am no huge fan. Is there a replacement for it that is the same colour as the vent surrounds, the brushed steel look. If so, has anyone fitted it and how difficult is it. I know it's also on the door cards but strangely enough, that doesn't bother me too much, and I don't fancy removing the cards - or is that not too difficult either? Cheers. ![]() |

| Briskodian | I know what you mean. It's what stopped me getting the Elegance. Maybe there's someone out there that wants the wood effect on a comfort model, and you could swap. Just an idea. |

| Briskodian | milotec I've had a quick look on their site and they do seem to have something but I can't tell if it's a stick-on thing or not. Any clues? |

| Briskodian | The wood on the Superb Elegance isnt fake, it is proper wood veneer. In an all black nappa leather interior, they look very nice. |

| Briskodian | Piano black, mmmmmm Mine is the all wood with black leather but in the centre section it just looks too much to me. I've seen it in the newer spec with the sat nav and it looks better because there is less of it. I love the sound of the piano black though. I didn't really notice it in the 100 model because all I could think was 'why did they put grey leather in it' and 'where can I get those tail pipes'. Will have to speak to my dealer about the piano black unless anyone has any details. |

| Briskodian | So someone has wood and would prefer black and someone else has black and would prefer wood? Since its easy to clip out the fascias (on the dash) sounds like there's and easy solution to keep at least two people happy? ![]() |

| Briskodian | Real wood? I think that might be why the door wood doesn't bother me, at least it looks real, the centre somehow though just doesn't. I've got to get some info on the piano black used in the 100s, that looks class. |
