| Briskodian | Octy to Edition 100? Looking to trade my Oct II 2.0TDI 05 with 30k on the clock with a Edition 100 1.9TDI 55 plate with 33k on the clock. Superb is £11K. Any advice on whether this is a good move or not? Looking for a more quality cruise machine which the Octy isn't. |

| Re: Octy to Edition 100? I think so, the 1.9 is a more reliable engine, the car itself is in a different league to the Octy, just don't give it away on the px money, stress you might wait until the new model is out and generally um an ah it a bit and watch the prices come closer together. |

| Briskodian | Re: Octy to Edition 100? Cheers Guys. Dont get me wrong the Octy is a good car but I am bit sick of being bounced around listening to all of the squeaks and creaks that the car seems to have. Dealer says that there is nothing wrong! Hope all of the build quality reports about the Superb are true. That piano wood dash on the Edition 100 looks soooooo good! |

| Re: Octy to Edition 100? Go for it! I had a Fabia vRS previously and ummed and ahhed for ages about the loss of economy and whether I really needed a bigger car! Now I've got my Edition 100 (and had it 12 months) I absolutely love it! Supremely comfortable, amazing specification and extremely good value. I gave £10.5k privately 12 months ago on ebay for mine (though the pictures and description were very poor so it was a bit of a gamble!) It had 42k on it then - Dec 2005 (55-plate) so I think you've still got good value at those prices now. |
