Oh dear...

This is a discussion on Oh dear... within the Superb forums, part of the Skoda Model Discussion Area category; I think they went a little OTT on the styling http://www.aktuality.cz/tuning/2004/...alky-5/031.HTM (not too bad, errr...) and http://www.aktuality.cz/tuning/2004/...alky-5/032.HTM (appauling)....

If it were black mesh seperated similar to an ST220 or a Clio 172 mesh it'd look alright maybe, but I do think there is too much mesh...

I see loads of cars with white mesh on. It looks completely cack on all cars IMO. I dunno why they do it. Definitely up there with Lexus clusters

Which reminds me, the other day I saw an Octy RS, red, with the most disgusting set of Lexus clusters adorned to it in Newcastle. Hope it was no-one here, but if it was, sorry it looks crap!!

The one with ICE there - it could work if he'd put a strong metal mesh-type shield over it. You're right, as it is you'd end up kicking that sub into bits.

Also, not practical there either - imagine getting in with muddy shoes or summit, you'd get the rubbish all over the darn thing and they dont like being wiped down wet I would have thought, unless it's a weatherproof sub ?

I like it. I agree with Paul about the mesh needing to be black though, it's way to shiny!!!
