| Oily smell My superb 1.8T has done about 65,000 miles and has been flawless until recently. Despite the fact that I don't have an apparent oil leak and the engine doesn't seem to consume lots of oil, the cabin fills with a really oily smell when I'm sat stationary for a period of time and is really noticeable when I reverse the car. This only happens when the car is warm of course. There is some evidence of oil on the hose at the rear of the engine and I'm wondering whether maybe a breather is blocked or something. Has anyone else experienced similar or possibly know what the problem could be? Any help would be greatly appreciatesd.

| Re: Oily smell Probably not much help, but I had exactly the same thing on my previous car (Saab 9-5 2.0t) and that was the oil breather pipe.
