Out of warranty...my car has woken up!

| Briskodian | Out of warranty...my car has woken up! This has got to be psychological but my car has just come out of warranty and for some strange reason seems to be coming alive. It's a 1.9tdi 130 superb elegance and has 28k on the clock. It seems a little quieter and has a bit more urge. At what age does this engine really start to loosen up, I would have thought it would be before now. I also expected , now that it is out of warranty, for things to go wrong and for me to hear allsorts of bad noises but the opposite seems to be true. Now I am even thinking of a re-map or whatever will give me more power and pick up. Any recommendations? |

| Re: Out of warranty...my car has woken up! As a rule they need about 40000 miles on them. My V6 is starting to slowly improve, but it's only got 20000 on the clock. |
