| Briskodian | Paintless dent removal-how good? As the title says really. Have picked up a few small dents in the superb recently. And I mean small, most people wouldn't bother with them. Only thing is if I leave them, they will drive me mad!! The paint is fine, has anyone had any experience of companies offering this? Particularly in the Hereford and Worcester area. Approx cost etc! Thanks Ben. |

| Re: Paintless dent removal-how good? i use a PDR guy here and hes spot on. been doing it for so long hes got a kinda squint now from staring at the white board he uses lol! bear in mind that in some places they will have to drill into the bodywork to get the lever in to push the dent out. it deos seem scarey but they seal it after with a bung so its as water tight as pos, and normally looks like it was mean to be there, like a drain plug of cover of some sort. worth doing it if they bug you, and maybe ask them to do the lot at a cheaper rate? HTH

| Re: Paintless dent removal-how good? We have a paintless dent removal service at Halfords. It's expensive, so I probably wouldn't use it myself, but they do an excellent job. The company we sub-contract to is called Shine! .

| Re: Paintless dent removal-how good? Any idea on Halfords prices? I have 2 tiny dents on the rear quarter, another tiny one on the bonnet, and a normal parking dink in the passenger front door. Would gladly pay £200 to remove the 4 of them...

Um... it depends on how many panels they're on. I'm not sure about the bonnet without checking with them, but I think you'd get the others done for about £200. Even the most expensive dent is about £125, and that's for a fair sized one. Parking dings are normally much less. Try and find a store near you who has a technician visit, if you PM me your postcode I'll see if I can find out where they are for you...

![]() The scratches are painted, yeah... so if you have a scratch and a dent in the same place then obviously they paint the dent. If you've just got a little depression, or a car park ding (which is what I assumed) then they just push it out from the other side. Stands to reason though that if the paint gets damaged when they push the dent out for whatever reason, they'll paint over it. That said, it seems to depend on the technician as well.

| Re: Paintless dent removal-how good? Just had three dents removed from my two week old Octy Vrs (b****y fireworks), I'm right fussy and can no longer see them. Cost me 130 from a company near Southampton, but worth every penny. |
