| Prob the cause. It's seeing dirt, and assuming you're a gnats dangly's away from a wall. Deep scratches on sensors will do this too. |

| Indeed they are and there are a few historical threads on here about the sensors......sometimes it's just better to use your intuition as opposed to the sensors when judging distances.....
