| removing oddments drawer below head unit anyone done this? had a quick look and can't see any screws but fairly firm tugging (ooerr) hasn't pulled it off (missus). am mounting ipod in there shortly so want to cut some holes in the rear for cables...

| Re: removing oddments drawer below head unit Half open the ashtray and pull the facia out from the bottom this will then give you enough space to grab hold of the drawer ......may be even easier to slide the radio out at the same time ....if you pull on the front of the drawer thats exactly what comes off........... the front of the the drawer

| Re: removing oddments drawer below head unit From casual observance when I installed my Parrot car kit.. pull off the front console trim,remove radio,and I think the tray is either screwed in or drops in place. ps The switch blanking plugs either side of the radio etc mount from the rear, so don't try to prise them out..it won't work.

| Re: removing oddments drawer below head unit Remove the front Fascia, remove your stereo and it all becomes clear. 5 minute job!! May I ask as too why you are removing it?

| Re: removing oddments drawer below head unit ok, i'll give it a go. planning on mounting an ipod dock in it, and i need to pull it out to drill a hole for the wires at the rear of the drawer, and to get cables in. actually, if the whole fascia comes out the whole job'll probably be a lot more straightforward than i thought! flip up ashtray, and pull fascia out at base then? ric
