I believe it's a rheostat, more of a selector to control the brightness as opposed to on/off.

I never knew about this button till I read about it on here, I have a Comfort as well.

I you feel behind the cruise control button on your steering wheel you fill find a small round button about the size of a smartie, this just simply switches the only the steering wheel illumination on or off.

A pm is internal board email as such.
if you click on the user name to the left of each post, ie click on your name "bigspeed"
it will give you some options, one being "send a private message"
you can then send that member a message.

Also at the top of each page in the righthand side, where it sayes "Welcome,bigspeed" one line down it says PM's click that and it will gice you the same screen. you can the type in the username of the person you want to send a pm to. ie vrstu.
