Suberb driving me mad!!

Help! The bonnet warning alarm on my Superb is constantly going off, even though the bonnet is shut properly and it's driving me nuts! Any suggestions, short-term or long-term, would be greatly appreciated.

Find out where the switch is that detects whether the bonnet is closed and check for loose connections.

I've checked the connections under the bonnet and they are fine. Any idea where I can find the switch? Failing that, would removing the fuse for this circuit be ok as a temporary measure? I have a 6 hour drive today and I'm not looking forward to the noise!
