| Re: Superb 1.9 tdi oil filter ??????? PD engine. If you remove the engine cover, there is circular a black plastic container with a multi-faceted top between the engine block and the radiator. The oil filter lives in here. (It is a paper element. AFAIK Skoda part no N 0138115 oil filter element with gasket(S)) |

| Re: Superb 1.9 tdi oil filter ??????? You will need a strap to get the housing undone, and done forget to replace the rubbers, and finally just re-tighten it up hand tight, there will also be retained oil in the bottom of the housing, up to you if you recover this oil, but if you are flushing as well, I'd recommend you do get this last of the old oil out as well. hth. |

Another little tip is to use the empty housing to fill the sump before you fit the new element & seal(s) as its easier to pour oil in here than into the smaller hole on the rocker cover. These both appear in the hints and tips section; apologies if you already know about them. ![]() | |
