| Time to say goodby to the big Skoda!! Yes after 3 years and just under 60,000 miles in 2 Superbs its time to say goodby.I originally bought a brand new 100 classic tdi as I had a long commute to do for a while, and kept the car nearly 20 months and did around 40,000 miles without a single fault and in total comfort with excellent economy.I was so impressed that when my long commute ended I wanted to change my car and didnt think twice about buying my secondhand 2.8v6 petrol tiptronic elegance which Ive had over a year and covered around 17000 miles in.The only problem I had with that car was the ashtray which opened everytime you went over a bump and was replaced without fuss by the local Skoda dealer.Unfortunately now I have a number of properties I rent out so Im really needing an estate car I can knock about a bit(trips to the tip/building materials etc).Im sick of paying for things to be delivered and to have rubbish removed. The natural candidate for this job is an Octavia estate(if anyone knows of a cheap one for sale let me know!!).Ive listed my Superb on Ebay and I know I will miss it like mad when its gone. |

| Re: Time to say goodby to the big Skoda!! Superb estate would be my ideal vehicle(have to wait until one was about 3 years old though for my job-I wouldnt like to bang a new one about).I believe that Skoda did not make one because it would harm more expensive models from Audi/VW |
