Got a picture of it? Might be easier to explain that way.

Pull the red retaining clip back and then twist the connector off (o/s to n/s I think). The hardest part I found was putting the dragon cable back into the connector..

Thats on the PD engine, not the V6.

Re: VP44 fuel pump on V6 TDI - advice for Dragon upgrade

Correct Lummox - you seem to have a good knowledge - are you a mechanic?

Got it and feel silly now - all i had to do was pull the retaining clip all the way out to the max and it popped off!

anyways now that I have taken the pics e-maild them to Mr Hoot to see if they have one available as it depends on the pin configuration.

funny thing is (could be cause the VP44 is so widely used) the block on the pump has 9 pins and the connector only has 6 working sockets.

Look at the pics!

You can see the clip on the right of this pic with the two finger grips you have to pull this all the way not just a few mm!

3000GT, 'mechanic' doesn't do him justice! He is legendary.

Top Gear has The Stig, Briskoda has The Lummox!
