| Wheel Alignment Hiya, Carolyn's Superb has been on for a service and they noticed that the rear tyres are wearing a bit on the inner edges (We are running Audi BBS A8 split rims 18"). Anyway took it for a proper 4 wheel alignment session and it looks like only the front was slightly out. Could this cause the rears to wear or do we have another problem?? Cheers |

| Re: Wheel Alignment Hmm. Certainly inner edge wear points to camber problems, but the four wheel alignment showed nothing... a head scratcher for sure. Still, perhaps it could have something to do with camber and the alignment place missed it? Ne fule no that all tracking systems/garages/etc are different... or are they? Short of that, perhaps it's got something to do with the split rim? Let us know how you get on anyway ![]()

| Re: Wheel Alignment Mine does the outside of the rears and eats front ones, it's the car, I've had it all checked and there's nowt wrong, and further proof I can go down the motorway and remove hands for a few seconds and there's no drift, so I blame it on soft suspension and heavy body. |

| Re: Wheel Alignment not a lot of help I know, but my rears wear evenly and still plenty there - about half worn at 35k miles (at least on the original one that wasn't replaced when punctured!) could it be related to the wheels - rim width, offset..? do you tow, carry heavy loads? cheers

| Re: Wheel Alignment - just sounds a bit dramatic and hit & miss. At least to those of us who do little more than check the oil!
