| Audio help required Here's the the senario, my friend has his pc in his lounge and on it is all his MP3's. He wants to be able to listen to them in his conservatory which is the other side of the house. He is thinking about an Ipod to put the music on and then a docking station to plug the Ipod into. The total cost would be aroun £250 but I think there must be a better way to acheive this goal. Is there a Hi-fi system that can play music streamed by a PC? or any other way of remotely playing music from his PC Any help would be appreciated

| Re: Audio help required Look at the logitech streambox, plugs into existing hifi and uses your wireless router to play the music. This can be had for around £150, can stream MP3's and also internet radio. The end results though will depend on how well the tracks are tagged. You also mentioned IPOD, so are all the tracks really MP3's or AAC format because this will limit the options open to your friend.

| Re: Audio help required A streamer is a good device, but PC has to be on, unless mp3 is stored on an external hard drive connected to a router. Ipod would be my choice, Oh! I have one.
