| Im doing a day at the new Anglesey Circuit on Saturday using the full circuit, anyone driven it, any tips. Im going to be probably the slowest car so need as much advice as possible. Im praying for rain then at least the 4WD will give me a chance against the more expensive machinery, forecast is looking good ![]()

| I did the National circuit back in August and really enjoyed it. We were warned that with the tarmac being new it was a bit slippy, so treat it as if it was damp. I found it not too bad though. It was quite easy on the tyres as well. The best piece of advice I can give you is to get some tuition if its available. After my session with the instructor I was a lot more confident and had a much better idea of the lines to take. It's a nice wide track so there's a bit of room for error. The pictures of the day are here. Customer Folder Mine is the black Octy and the yellow Fabia is my sons. You'll have a great time and I only wish I was coming with you.

| Nick, Most of the cars there will be fairly quick German stuff, M3's, Gt2, Gt3 etc & some of the guys are track day Gurus so whilst I wont be the slowest I will certainly be near the back unless it rains The circuit was chosen as nobody had driven it before so for those who had bragging rights to settle it was equal, should be a good night in the pub afterwards ! Smifffy 3 f's Thanks for the post, I was contemplating instruction so I think I will have some, just so I dont look tooooooooo silly

| Brilliant track, very very technical & many corners had very late apex's. Had a great day, weather brilliant. Downside was the marshalling which was terrible, I had 3 occasions where people passed me on a corner whilst I was held up by another car & tailgating seemed the accepted thing. Shame as its a fantastic track.

| Good track, Just the paddock is crap!. But i heard they are putting some big money into that to attact more people and even a hotel. Plenty of grip out there back in July in the wet, But i was on a bike trackday. Please dont lob the brakes on hard are you will make it bumpy!. Luke |

| Very impressed with the new circuit at anglesey. We did our first event there in November and couldn't believe how much the place had changed, not just the circuit layout but also the also the shear amount of dirt move for all the gradient changes. The surface is fantastic - it's a case of spot the join it's that good. The weekend we were competing it was blowing a gale and chucking it down - the flex in the wind turbine blades they have was scary and I got rocked out of bed in the motor home. We had a few grip issues but we put that down to the huge amounts of water on the track. One word of advice I would give people going there on a track day is not to cut back across the rumble strips onto the circuit as they eat your tyres as they are high from the wrong side (see below) ![]()
