Yes, places still available. You can PayPal me £21 to cover the deposit with the balance on the day.... davidwatsonok AT yahoo DOT com (written to avoid spam). If you don't have PayPal then pay in full on the day. If all the places had go then those who pay deposits are guaranteed places, but I doubt they'll all go this time.

Re: Cheap but fun private trackday - Sat 15th Sept

Save the new rubber for the next day ! The surface at Blyton is quite abrasive and if you drive aggressively can wear your tyres quickly. Much better to use the last bit of life in some old stuff.

Re: Cheap but fun private trackday - Sat 15th Sept

Dennis, you're more than welcome. Details of how to pay the deposit is on the Scoobynet link in Post #1, or pay in full on the day.

RR, feel free to come along for piccy's. Spectating for the day is just a fiver, and there's a BBQ lit most of the day for some chit-chat.

Re: Cheap but fun private trackday - Sat 15th Sept

What is trackside access like for photos?

Last time i was there (skoda forum trackday) i had no problem with trackside access.

I have a hi-vis vest and am sensible where i stand. (i spend most weekends out on rally stages)

We pretty much have a free run of the place so you can wander where you like, safely and sensibly of course.

There's usually lots of cameras on the day. I'll post links after the event for you to browse.

I'll be taking photos of every car out on the track, they will all be high res as well, i'll post a few on here at the end of the day for people to view, if anyone wants photos, i put photos of each car on cd's, the rally boys happily pay £20 for a cd, and they get, on average at least 25 pics of their car.

Do you have any links to your previous work ? I'll add it to the main thread and see if it drums up business for you after the event.

Re: Cheap but fun private trackday - Sat 15th Sept

I'm hoping to get a website up and running shortly, i can post a linc to my photobucket account once i get my recent rally photos uploaded to it.

I'm out on rallies most weekends, its just luck that i'm free on Saturday, and that its my weekend off work, so i'm able to come along to Blyton. I also try to take static pics as well if at all possible.

I'll get the linc posted in the next couple of days.

Re: Cheap but fun private trackday - Sat 15th Sept

Excellent photos, shame there are no opel mantas Do you sample ones with like a digital stamp overlayed? Like a taster one?

Corrado boy, sorry what is your name and what will you be driving so I can recognise you on the day? Do I need to mask my lights up?

Re: Cheap but fun private trackday - Sat 15th Sept

Actually I take that back about mantas, i see the one on the top right with the 18" compomotives.

That same red manta is being stripped down and rebuilt into the manta I sold for £50.

Re: Cheap but fun private trackday - Sat 15th Sept

Info is all in the Scoobynet link, but 8.30am is the target. It's usually nearer 9 though as the convoy from Yorkshire usually has someone holding up proceedings.
