| Having heard some good things about these guys, I got my car serviced by APS Their site is: APS - VW Audi vehicle servicing and performance tuning Due to a recent(ish) failure of a thermostat, in turn causing allsorts of nasty problems (head gasket, head slightly damaged, camshaft + bearings replaced) it is still off the road right now ![]() However the team at APS has kept me updated along the way. Daily calls from me must be wearing them down a bit but so far they're still answering ![]() We decided it would be best to keep the car over the Christmas break to make sure the coolant problem is sorted. As the guys are fitting my stage 2 hybrid, metal impeller waterpump, new camshaft & bearings, baffled sump, 4 new valves, skimmed head, head gasket etc, wrapping the exhaust & all intercooler pipes, as well as fitting a short shifter, this is how it worked out ![]() The level of honesty and pride in the work of the guys in the garage as well as in the office was very refreshing, and I will definitely recommend them As a bit of promotion I am driving their courtesy car throughout the Christmas period (plus I needed a car ).Once they've run it for 50-100 miles early next year I should be getting my car back in a properly working state again
