Thumbs up Big thumbup for Opie Oils!!!

The last bottle of oil I bought for my PD Passat on LongLife servicing was VW Quantum Gold (VW 506.00 spec) at just under £70 from my local Skoda independant.

So, as I needed a new lot further to smashing my sump, I went to Opie Oils. Fuchs Titan SuperSyn LL 506.00 spec, 4l at £46.99 less 10% forum discount.

However, they've got an extra 20% off at the moment to give their website a bit of a send off with a new site on the horizon, so for Briskoda Freedom members, thats 30% discount, with free delivery

Just ordered 3x 4l of the Fuchs, and 3x 1l for my colleagues. Did me an amazing price of £8.50 for the 1l, and £30 for the 4l, and then an extra fiver off as I missed out on the extra 20% for what I ordered over the weekend!! So the next 3 oil changes will cost me well under £40!

I guarantee you won't find the longlife PD oil cheaper!

Very friendly over the phone, and same day dispatch to boot.

I recommend you take advantage of this offer while it lasts. Make sure you mention Briskoda...

Re: Big thumbup for Opie Oils!!!

Tom,
Is there any reason you didn't go for the Titan GT1 5w-30 VW504.00/507.00
As I understand it, VW507 spec is as good as (if not better) than 506.00 or 506.01, and before Brisky discount its currently at £31.99 for 4 litres as opposed to the£33.59 for the stuff you got.
Cheers
Andy

Re: Big thumbup for Opie Oils!!!

The spec for my engine is VW 506.00, simple as that really. I think its 0W30, so how 5w30 is better I don't know?

Regardless, its chuffing cheap at the moment!!!

For how many litres?

I paid about £11.50 for a litre of Shell Helix Ultra-wotsit at my Skoda dealer just the other week.

Re: Big thumbup for Opie Oils!!!

I paid £12.35 at the local VW dealer last week.

Just ordered 1 x 4ltr, and 1 x 1ltr, of Titan GT1 5w-30 VW504.00/507.00 from Opie.

That's 5 ltr delivered for £39.79, so less than £8/ ltr, or 2/3rds the stealer price.

Very impressed - thanks Opie!
