Grange Moor Garage, Wakefield

Anyone in Wakefield or Huddersfield should give these guys consideration for any work that needs doing to their Skoda. They are an independant garage servicing and repairing all makes and models of car, van, motorhome and 4 x 4.

I called in today (never been there before) after I noticed they did MOT testing. I asked my Skoda dealer to set up my headlights properly the last time I took my car in to them.

On getting it back I felt they were too low. Asked them to look again but I don't think they actually did anything. Annoying really as I do a lot of night driving.

Anyway I called in and asked if they would look at them for me. They sorted me out straight away and confirmed that the lights were not set up correctly for passing the MOT, were too low and would not be giving out the light where they should. Less than five minutes later the lights were set up correctly (they allowed me to watch on the machine) and also offered me advice about the suspension bushes, showed me a suspension bush and where they break.

I asked how much to be told no charge. Not saying that this is across the board but just felt these two mature proper mechanics, who have the cleanest garage I've ever been in, are worth telling Skoda owners about.
