A not as mad pace, is not as mad as a mad pace, which is not as mad as a really mad pace..

At the National we split up into groups according to car/speed etc, but I think the idea of this one is to appreciate the great scenery and take it easy etc...

I personally will be taking it easy, if I come. The weather is a lot more likely to be damp, and in them thar hills that can also mean ice... There is no way I'll be "ave'in it!" like I did in September.

Just a vote *for* significant others! Not banned from Briskoda, she doesn't spend my money, she does keep me warm at night, and she does keep me in the way I am accustomed to!

I'll add being able to look over my shoulder from 15miles away to her list of talents then..

Jane, the pace is usually fairly gentle, although that depends on which group you get in. The route is fully described, usually with little maps, and is fairly easy to follow.

Come in a group with me, I'm fairly sensible and didn't managed to lose any of the group that was with me.

hell yeah, combination of "very frosty tarmac" and "very frosty air" was lots of fun this morning!

(sorry officer, it just stepped out, it wasn't deliberate )
