I think any of us that saw "that edition" of wifeswap know what Rochdale is, and it's not something I can say on a public forum where children might be reading

Exactly - think how cosmpolitan it must be with even unemployed people earning £38,500 a year "after tax"...
And, they have all day to immerse themselves in culture, discuss philosophy over the finest wines and delicacies, and dress in dazzling Kappa haute couture.

Which is only 4 mpg better than what i managed to / from Duxford

Think i'll stick with petrol, less chance of my hands slipping off the steering wheel and my foot slipping off the pedals when some careless tw** spills it at the pumps.

Its a shame I won't have the current Furby for this drive.

The new one will be being gently run in, so I must behave!

So do several of us

*You could always look at the GGR Focus RS, 5.9 or the PE Focus, 5.8 or you could take a look at Bill's Golf or Ibiza, low 5s IIRC. Maybe Des would like to post his figures from the performance metre?

Sorry was busy last week deciding on things

Righty ho, times...days free, anytime 19th to the 2nd I'm free, between the 25h and 2nd will be more difficult. Pre 24th then? or early Jan...or a saturday if everyone has there shopping done. I can't make this saturday as we are having crimbo early on the account of mum nursing on the big day it'self.

So we have little time in december and of course it's a busy month...

19th 22nd, 23rd 24th all good for me. It' the others, which is why Jan is looking more favourable I think

Okay have route, hopefully 143 miles with lunch in the shadow of Lliwedd. The importance of this is that this is one of the mountains that was used for Everest training trips all those years ago.

The Lakes and Mountains route is ready.

I can pretty much do any time from 25th Dec (not including 25th of course....) to Jan 4th, or some weekend in early Jan.

I quite fancy sometime between Xmas and New Year though, as a lot of us I suspect will be off work (those who are employed 9-5 anyway) and I'm often bored to death during this time due to the mind-numbing telly they put on to "entertain" us.

PS: All this driving is getting me drastically close to my 50K service.
