Dunno - went and found it after I posted that. Looks a bit too much like a drunken stag party for me, so I'll give it a miss.

An amazing insight, although for me due to the zero blood/aclcohol driving laws I will only be out on the lash on Friday night big time as I have all of sunday as a foot tourist in Prague to sober up - no need to drive. Sat night will be leisurely as we have to drive back home next day.

I don't believe you need insurance and the like but maybe a disclaimer saying the club is not legally responsible for hunter's etc etc. Also state its not a race,

I like this idea.

Based on the last Brisky venture into Wales, nearly a year to this day, count me in! Will have to check once dates have been announced, as I'm on holiday for some of September. Also - won't be in a Skoda, but I can always stick some badges on.

Re: Wales tour : long and hard...fly boys need not apply

Looks like I am indeed inbetween courses in Bristol for 2 weeks from 18th Sept until the end of the month, so it would be easy for me to get to this meet being 100 miles further north than originally.

Usual disclaimers about law, etc. IANAL.
1) Any event involving fewer than 12 vehicles is automatically exempt from regulations as long as there is no "timing" element (except for obvious "time out" situations where competitors are hopelessly lost and are instructed to "be at point X by <time>". The local constabulary should be notifed.
2) Any event with more than twelve vehicles must be authorised by the relevant national rallysport organisation. IIRC that's BRCCin the UK - but they delegate authorisation to local clubs.

Of course, this is just what the regulations say. I doubt that any of the organisers of local treasure hunts throughout the contry actually know the rules, let alone adhere to them - and still everything goes smoothly

Any chance this is still going ahead in this weekend? I need to know in the next couple of days if anything is afoot so I know whether to stay on in Brizzle during my course, or just go home for the weekend, instead of galavanting around North Wales.
