11th January Turnpike?

Hiya peeps, whats everybodies thoughts for our first monthly meet of 2007? Are we sticking with the Turnpike on Thursday night, Malt Shovel or heading into Lancashire :shudders:

Any thoughts?

Exit 22 off the M62.
Turn towards Ripponden, over some 'interesting' country roads, and it's approx 5 miles on the left.
Though as Andy says, the venue may be changed, as the pub is carp.
Watch this space.

Usually we start arriving anytime from 7 pm on depending if anyone is eating

a bit of an achievmenrt, eating, at the Turnpike, so say 7.30 for most peeps, can go on as long as, and next fridays my day off

If so i'll bring my pyromaniacs gift set i got for xmas

Malt shovel is apporx 3 miles further on the same road as the turnpike and is also on the left hand side, think its the next pub but one?

hmmm...... I need to ask a favor actually. First thing I did when I got the octy was put my alpine head unit in. I've just taken my 6CD changer out of the boot to sell, but noticed the warrenty seal sticker has been broken.... so I i don't know if it works or not.

Could anyone coming to the meet with a standard audio setup octy vRS or Elegance possibly swap there leads from there CD changer to mine to test ?

I hope to be there, but it all depends how my day goes earlier as I’m having a molar pulled out by my dentist and he says I have extraordinarily long roots on my teeth. I think he means it’s going to be bloody and hurt a bit.
