Just got my Octy RS and was told about this site, which Im finding really useful.

I was wondering if there are any owners in/near Sheffield, and do you meet up?

I see there is a meet goes on at Xscape, but wondered if there was anything closer to home

Just been playing in Wharncliffe woods on my new bike, stacked it big style. I'm now quite sore and my 6 day old saddle is a bit buggered. Still, it could have been worse, least i had my lid on!

Sorry Damo..... I've only had the Furby for a month and a half...... The only meet i have been on was at Hillsboro Park and it was a uk-polos.net meet........ There were a couple of furby / ibiza's there and i went cos my last car was a polo GTi.


The only one i've seen for Briskoda was the one at the ski place you mention in your original thread.

Polo GTi eh? I had a Lupo GTI about 6 months ago, proper fun car it was, like a little go kart

Anyway, If any one fancies a mini meet sometime, I would be up for it, if not, maybe catch you all at the other Yorkshire meets

I went over to a NW meeting at the Cat and Fiddle once, other than that not really. JBS in Chesterfield is always worth a vist though and there's usually some Skoda people there.

for my sins i'm in lower shiregreen/ about a stones throw from ecclesfield (yes i really do have to move!) lol
Will keep an eye out for a silver octy vrs, as i often go into ecco/ chappletown!
Am up for any mini meet that might be on the cards
And yes you can garauntee there'll be a skoda of some sort @ JBS

Hi Damian,

Welcome and congratulations on the RS! I think i'm a local now a days (been in sheffield 22yrs)! Was aware of the possibility of meeting at Xscape, but it's SWMBO's birthday this weekend, so can't make it, but I'm sure there will be plenty more once the group gets going!

Might be worth clocking a local venue and seeing if we can move the regional meeting around a bit.

Anyway welcome & enjoy !
