Re: Harewood House VW Festival anyone going?

I organised the 1st Briskoda Stand at the 1st Event 2 years ago! As Postmanpat mentioned earlier was going to do it last year too, but due to complete apathy from people on here (Think we only got 3 cars or summat) I cancelled the stand!

Thread Here: http://www.briskoda.net/forums/great...-2006-a/57268/
Have been sent all the info again this year Looks like you already have double the amount We had last year!

Lots of people moan that Skoda is not represented at major shows etc but it needs people to get off the ar5es and do summat about it!

Glad you guys are! If I can help at all I'll be glad too!

Might be worth posting in the Main Thread also and the North East Section!

Steve

Re: Harewood House VW Festival anyone going?

Hiya Steve,

I agree totally, any help you can give would be most appreciated, i didnt have a skoda the year before last or would have been there
Hopefully it will go ahead this year, there seems to be a fair bit of response so far,

Fingers Crossed

p.s are you coming then?

also i would post in other sections but didnt want to be frowned upon for posting in the wrong section or duplicate posting or whatever, where would this thread be ok to go? after all its good advertising

Re: Harewood House VW Festival anyone going?

Popped a link in the North East Section! I think I'm coming! Not 100% if I'm going 1.8T power or TDi Sooty Power yet though!

Think I should really make the effort to attend one show in my Furby though

Pics Taken by JonTDI from the 1st year are here:1st VW Festival Pics

Need to get my TT compo's fixed then eh?????

If I were you mate I'd stick a post in the Great Britian Section Too!!!!

Hiya,

I haven't actually picked my Octy Vrs up yet but Carolyn and I might be able to tag along. We'd be bringing our 18 month old as well so hopefully a nice day.

Harewoods not that far from Hull.

Cheers

Re: Harewood House VW Festival anyone going?

Right guys n girls
have reserved a club stand for us at the festival now we have seen considerable interest
thankyou to everyone who has put there name down so far,
but dont be disappointed if you havent put your name down, i can change the amount of cars on the stand up to the 31st of july, so you have until then to contact me

it gives a variety of ways to go about buying the tickets, we can either buy them via paypal or via cheque so was wondering which way people would prefer, if you would like to then you can paypal myself and i will purchase the tickets, or everyone can make out cheques and i can send them with the application form? we have plenty of time to arrange this, i arent wanting the money tonight lol, just wondered how you would like to procede?
personally i think paypal would be safer, i dont trust sending a load of cheques in the post

and finally, on the day we will arrive at 8am, all the stands have to be in place for 10am latest and there is water facilities there for us to wash our cars

if anyone has any questions regarding any of the events or procedures etc please pm me and i will try help as best i can

cheers
chris and nicola.

ROYAL MAIL=SNAIL MAIL. Its the system at fault not the hard working staff that get paid WAY too much I mean mk2 VRs and a Furby VRs no wonder people dont get there cheques.
