Malt House meet Thurs. 12th July

Bit late for this meet guy's n gals (actually just left the malthouse before most of you have arrived) but my G/F is one of the managers for the malthouse, so if you want to see if I can arrange some kind of deal for you with the food (which is excellent by the way) then I will try and sort something for you. Would be there tonight but its her day off and she moans if I say lets go down when she's not working. Dont ask if i can do anything with the beer prices, its priced that way to keep the riff raff out but I could possibly swing a meal deal price or arrange some nibbles/supper if enough turn up. let me know and enjoy your night!

PS The Bar Manager has a end of line Race Blue Firby vRS but it's his day off too!

Just got home with a flat tyre. It felt a bit wallowy near home. It smelt a bit rubbery but wasnt fully deflated. Pumped it up with a foot pump. So I'll have a look at it in the morning. Looks like a trip to the tyre garage

Somebody at the meet said it looked a bit down!!

Wardy. Gave the drawer to Mr. Grumpy and he paid me....mumbling something about an ipod!! Hell settle up with you. OK?

Woo just got home lol! We ended up in a load of fog on the way home and wayne said that maybe we had died and would just keep driving through fog forever!!

But then I saw a sign for Darwen so I wasn't scared anymore!!

I was planning to go to this meet, but sadly Willberpog has had his bum pinched!!! A dozy taxi driver went into the back of him this afternoon, just as I was turning in to see my accountant. Still only his bumper seems scratched and I am OK. Even my accountant was nice to me afterwards. Only prob is the private taxi is owned by a different bloke to the driver and when I rang him to get the insurance details, he started off with all this bumf about he needed to see the car first etc etc (he owns a diesel engine repair shop) So I have handed it over to the insurance company to sort out as I don’t fancy meeting up with this guy and having him offer me a couple of hundred quid. i think I'll need a new rear bumper and respray and will get the reversing sensors checked out too-a damm sight more than £200 quid posibly!

He is obviously operating under the misapprehension that I am a simple pushover. Also got the reg (verified by my insurance company) the drivers cab number and the operating number and it all seems to check out, so I am hoping that when I come back from The Open, I should be able to get poor Willberpog made all better. No witnesses, but my accountant came out into the street and heard the driver admit liability.

Tyre was flat again in the morning.

Used the electric pump in the boot this time, the one I didnt know I had!!
Got me to work and it seems not to have lost any air

Taking it to a tyre place over the road from work this morning. What a bummer.
Great meet though. Nice to meet some new faces.
Loz....What a hoot.

I think you should get one of those drawers, then you can keep pressing it all the time!

seems like he managed to get a bit of momentum going on the motorway on the way home
