I just thought I would post this up on a few of the meet boards that are accessible to York.

Sunday 12th October - York Raceway - Last drag of the year.

We could try and make this a big Briskoda day and see if they can offer any discount for us if we book as a group.

The price as I can figure it is as follows:

IOPD race license: £5
PDRC membership: £10 (1 year membership)
Day admission: £10 (Adult) £5 (13-16 year olds) FREE (children)
Run What You Brung fee: £30

So for a first timer like me on my own it'll be £55 for the day in total. I need to clarify if certain fees are waived depending on what else you buy eg. If you pay for RWYB then do you still pay entry? I'll keep you updated.

I thought I would post this up, gauge interest and then if enough people respond ring York Raceway and ask for club discount. Worth a try. I know I have a none Skoda owner from work who is looking for the chance to test his Focus ST. So for now lets say we have two interested!

I'll keep an eye on this thread, my missus has an ST Focus which I want to race against mine, and my mate has an RS4 which he wants to race vs his wifes Porsche Carrera.

I also have a contact at York Dragway, I'll see what they can do on ticket pries if there is enough interest.

How much? dont want to spoil the thread, but in my day (only 28 now), i raced on there for a tenner .
If the price comes down I will be up for it.

From past experiance it was a good day tho
