Re: York meet feeler ....

Well then... this seems to have gone stail... any progress...?

Being new to York i don't really know that many places unfortunately.

I think somewhere on the outer ring road would be most suitable for everyone to get to etc.

So come on York folks... suggest a venue then we can figure out dates/times!

Re: York meet feeler ....

As I live in York, I'd definitely be up for a local meet. It seems the closest ones to here are at least an hours drive away. If possible could we make it in June as I'm away until then.

Re: York meet feeler ....

If you want something on the outer ring road...how about the Hopgrove just off the A64. That's mega easy to find and from what I've heard its a good venue (not been in for years though)

I think it's towards the north of the ring road.

Re: York meet feeler ....

Just caught up with this thread - I'm in Thirsk 2 - 3 nights a week so if it clashes with one of those I'll be up for it. If you don't mind a Lancastrian doing a bit of missionary work!

Re: York meet feeler ....

Let's get this organised then Chaps. If we are in agreement, the Hopgrove seems the best option for the most of us it's just a matter of when now!

Count me in!

Lots of space around Clifton Moor area - easy drive to a few pubs on the Harrogate road after?

I would be up for this, as I live in Harrogate. I just need to know a date so can make sure I am not on a late shift.

Re: York meet feeler ....

I've probably got the worlds most complicated work roster, but I'll try my best to get along.

Can I also shamelessly plug ....
Sunday 1 June
Skoda Klub Of Doncaster And Scunthorpe
all welcome for a trip to Brimham Rocks
Convoy starts Scunny Old Farmhouse at 10am
& calls at Ferrybridge Services until 11am,
aiming for the rocks at 1215

Again .... all welcome.

cheers ... Darren
