Guys, 400Nm torque is not that much, if you consider, that diesel with DSG gearbox have 380 Nm...
-
Just to be clear, I have installed APR stage I, which is ECU modification (chiptuning), air intake is another piece to puzzle which is now under consideration process

Hi guys, I have decided to be another maniac APR stage I installed just two days back...I'm just smiling every time second and third gear starts to pull...having so much fun now! I had great deal ~500 pound. APR offered, that if I let my car to be presented on some local car festival they will provide 50% discount on brand APR air intake.

Can you please upload some pictures of your cool looking car with wrapped roof? I'm really thinking about to do the same, but not sure if I should go with the whole roof or 2/3 like pano roof is. Any ideas?

Great thanks!

It looks great! I have been waiting for my steel battleship and thinking about wrapping the roof as well, but not sure if I'll go with the whole roof or 2/3 as pano roof is... What do you think?

Are all the lower buttons such as VRS mode, park assist, stop/start, simply shortcuts to the corresponding Columbus car setting? I would have preferred "one click" activation using the button alone with two modes configurable in the Columbus, so ON=Sport mode and OFF=normal mode for example. If you preferred to have ON=individual or ECO then that would be possible via the Columbus drive settings.
May be I got it wrong but if all the button does is take you into the menu for further selection then the button doesn't really add much value?
May be I'm just being "simply clever-er" and should apply for a design job at Skoda...
I would prefer just pressing the button as well.

Hi man,
I'm thinking about changing my order specification to 19" alloy as well. How is the ride with these very cool wheels? I'm litle bit worried, since I found this article http://www.carbuyer.co.uk/reviews/skoda/octavia/vrs-hatchback/review
Unfortunately not many people have them by now...except you man -
Well I've had my VRS for a week now and I have to say I love it.
Ive been using it for work and as well as allowing me to nip past dithering drivers in the busy morning traffic it is averaging around 50mpg.
The seats are fantastic, to me the cabin does feel very premium compared to other cars I've had, I love having the DAB radio, the ride is firm but very comfortable, the passenger space is fantastic, maxi dot is a great bit of kit, bi xenon's are brilliant and the car looks fantastic, well I think so anyway ;-)
On the xenon's I've seen how good people have said they are but if they were not standard I'm not sure I would of spec'd them when I ordered and after a few days of driving at dusk I must admit I was still thinking the same. However after driving in darkness I was starting to realise that they were a big improvement and last night I drove SWMBO's Citigo with halogens for the first time since getting my new motor and oh my god, when you go back to halogens you realise that they are not just a big improvement but a complete and utter leap forward. I will never have another car without them!
I've took a couple of quick pics this afternoon on my phone for all the Meteor Grey lovers out there ;-)
She looks absolutely amazing!!! Congrats!!!
