I put the key with my house keys which are seperate from the Octy keys....kills two birds with one stone: If thief nicks ya keys he/she can't drive off, and you never go out without a house key with you

Drove the 3.2 TT with this 'box in the other day. Around a slarlom track it was about 1/10th sec quicker than a standard manual 'box. It wasn't as quick at changing as I thought but then again the performance wasn't exactly quick when compared to the Octy I had just jumped out of. Drove the S4 and the RS6 with flippy paddles but couldn't say if it was DSG or not.
I would! :naughty:

Know of a problem similar to this that happened to a Fabia VRS.
On the left hand side of the engine there is a pipe that comes up and bends towards the back of the engine. Anyway, the bend is sort of concertinered (sp?) and there was a splint in one of the folds. Was demonstrated by turning off the engine and getting someone to hold the concertinered bit together while starting the engine and the car ran fine!!! Also the pipe could be felt to 'bulge' or not be so easy to press in whist on boost.
HTH, If needs be I will try and explain better.

Made my way back down last night ready for work today. Set cruise to motor down the various motorways and without deviation of the preset speed repeatedly overtook the same Merc C Conv, BMW 330d and various chaved 306s and corsas on route. Seems they like to overtake 'cos they are better than a Skoda, but are totally unable at maintaining a constant speed on a relativly empty road. :thumbdwn:

Has anyone got one of the above? I am kind of tempted to buy one' date=' anyone got any opinions on them? How do they actually measure things like bhp?

I have the AP-22, if that is of interest to you?!?!? I quite like it, can make a change to the car and then see if it makes any difference.....within reason
I have to enter the cars weight, rolling resistance and such like....then via the G's pulled during acceleration it know that at a constant 1G you have travelled 32feet/s/s....all totally over my head but have a basic understanding. The settings don't matter that much as for acceleration test it's accurate to 1/20s.

Only thing ive found... its horrifically slow, im thinking this is actually a bluetooth limitation, as it says its connected at 115kb but i never get more than 3/4k per second
This is just reporting the com port speed and not the connection speed IIRC. As far as downloading is concerned 3/4k is about right, and I'm unsure of the quality of connection so there maybe more retransmission than a comparable 33.6k PSTN modem.

GPRS speeds are dependant on the the network resources the operator provisions you and the compression, if any, it employs.
There are four coding schemes, 9.6k, 11.x, 13.x and 15.x per timeslot. It also depends on the number of timeslots allocated to a particular subscriber, maximum being 8 timeslots (NEVER happens), minimum obviously 1 and maybe 2 or 3 in an under utilised cell, if you are lucky.
My GPRS internet connection produces about 25k throughput.

Looks remarkably like the Skoda Coupe Concept, to me.......

I'm very pleased with my Revo 3bar......My Review
I find it far from all or nothing.....with any remap if you just floor the throttle you will end up just skidding away, definately have to learn to drive the car again. I went for Revo after lots of talking to tuners and getting a few peoples views that had had each of the options.....drove a few too.

Hi I need to change my rear tyres as there close to the limit! I have a VRS Octavia just wondering if it's worth going for 215/45 17 oppose to the standard tyre size? Has any body else done this? Any experiences would be great!! What make would you recomend? Price ect?
I'm sure someone will be along with the exact details, but.......I think it is far cheaper if changing the size from OEM to go 225/45.
I've heard the Pirelli Rosso Neros are good!!!!!
