  1. I use a set that use to fit my dad's old mk1 Occy if that helps.
  2. The paint lacquer on the spoiler on my 07 Fabia SE has failed. I've spoken to Claybank Skoda (in Irlam) who informs me that it's not covered under any body work warranty. Am I correct in thinking that this requires a respray? The spoiler has no damage to it and the paint looked like it was "bubbling" before it finally started to bubble. I'm not impressed that after only 4 years the lacquer has failed. Anyone else had this issue with young-ish Skodas?
  3. The OEM pads I got from Skoda are made by Ferodo and haven't had a problem with them. If I was to replace them and the Discs I'd be tempted by getting a 312mm setup that many people seem to do.
  4. I'll take 1 internal and 1 external both in silver. Thanks
  5. Personally I went for the OEM ones from a Stealer - cost me just short of £30 each way. There still ferodo and haven't had any problems with them - and yes they came with the anti-squeal stick pads.
  6. I use 215 on my spiders and haven't had any issues.
  7. had this issue myself at the weekend and fuse 15 10amp is the correct repair
  8. I heard you can get in trouble if they catch u pouring it down the drain. :(
  9. I've had a small problem with my wiper blades. It seems every so often the drivers side catches the A pillar no matter what setting their on. Has anyone else had this issue? I'm using Bosch blades which even though weren't from Skoda were the same make and size as the OEM ones.
  10. Where would be the best place to dispose brake fluid? I know they accept used engine oils at the local tip but can I put the brake fluid in this too?
  11. Have to say I've always ran 215/40/17 on mine and had no problems.
  12. Keep us posted as I'd be interested to see how much this would cost.
  13. I noticed awesome quoted some one on here around £200 for fitting the Seat ones only so it seems to be the going rate. If it was £200 plus parts all round inc the dogbone I might get it done
  14. Is that an SRi model as it has the rubber lip on the boot like other MK2 SRi's had.
  15. well if you buy the bits ur self u could do the normal service for less than £60 plus the cost to do the brake fluid change so the only thing your left paying for is the cam belt change. Food for thought
  16. Just to add my 07 SE didn't come with one yet my mums PD100 52 plate has one.
  17. TBH I've worked in the ISP sector for some time and on one hand certain providers can give you improved speeds if they don't have bottle necks (like virgin) but it some times depends on your line length, copper qualitly and how many people use the exchange. check samknows (best googling it) to find out your est line length
  18. Well my dad got himself a 4x4 badge (VW I think) for his scout.... :( this is the same man that put a sheet of A4 in his back window when it was snowing saying summat about being a 4x4.... :( Thankfully I don't live there any more.
  19. Well the blades that came with my fabia SE were bosch... have they changed brands since 07?
  20. well I called up Jabba and they sell them individually so I've ordered two of these. Fingers crossed I can get them soon and finally get it fitted
  21. OK slightly silly question but is the 8mm the thickness and the 50mm the diameter? I've measured the ones I have and their 24mm wide and cause their no longer round I had to measure the length which came in at around 300mm
