  1. Glad I'm not the one fitting it. 😭
  2. Many Thanks I guess my Son always expects the worst thing to happen. Works on Cars Vans and Trucks all day.
  3. Thanks for the replies. My Stepson who is a very good Mechanic. Uses an Autel Scanner which he knows his way around. He sent me a Video of the Sensor which has a Black plug on the end. Due to the location on the Manifold it will have to be given a fair bit of heat to loosen it so that the threads don't strip. He checked with a multimeter on the plug end and he's 99 percent sure the Sensor Lead has gone. I'll order one this week and hopefully he can fit it this weekend coming.
  4. Vin TMBFN6NJ2HZ029829 Not sure what the fault code was but I will be able find out later this afternoon for sure. Thanks Ian
  5. Hi I had an engine management light come on the other day. Had it diagnosed as the O2 Sensor. It appears to be the one at the back of the manifold with the Black plug.Ive had a look on eBay and theirs a Pre Cat and a Post Cat. Any idea which is the one behind the manifold.Dont want to buy the wrong one. It's 2016 1.2 TSI Thanks Ian
  6. Nice Post I followed the Instructions. Thought at one time I was going to crack the mirror, pressure I was putting on the latches seemed excessive. Finally got the Head Shell off then the real fun began 😂 Taking the old unit with Bulb out was super easy. When I went to fit the unit I'd bought from eBay,it was a nightmare. Looked and felt like it was made of Peanut Brittle. I guess that's what happens when you buy cheap. All done now everything back in place. Thanks for the Photos and info. Ian
  7. Must be using Cooking Oil 😭😭
  8. Found the info coolant reading 90 c oil temp between 86-87 when running around town.
  9. Thanks I've used the infotanment screen for most things. How do I use the dash screen. Do I use the left or right stalks to bring up the info. Or the wheel thing on the Steering Wheel. Really need to find the Car manual.
  10. Found one on eBay. 12.95. but bought for 10 30. They had a discount code. Hopefully have it by Saturday and will put it back together.
  11. Yes had a Message symbol of the Car telling me the right front Indicator was knackered. Shame it couldn't have taken a Picture of the Pr**k that hit it 😞
  12. Thanks Managed to order the Clear plastic housing from eBay. I'm guessing the Bulb is knackered I'll pick one up. The Road I live on is a Rat Run they go along at a minimum 80 mph. My fault for not folding in the mirror.
  13. HAd a look this morning. This appears to be the Culprit.
  14. Thanks been raining all day today. Price we pay for a couple of days of sunshine. I’ll have a look under the bonnet tomorrow , see if I can spot anything obvious. And I’ll check the display with the Car thing. I had a feeling it was all going to well 😪😪
  15. Car didn't come with a Handbook. Probably went the same way as the Service History. So I'm Driving along this evening minding my own business. When a symbol appeared on the Dash. Yellow Triangle with I think an exclamation mark in the middle. When I had a chance I switched off, gave it a minute then switched on. The symbol was gone couple of minutes later while driving it was back. Anyone have any idea what it means ? Thanks for any help Ian
