  1. There is a simple check with VCDS for this update. The old version of software relates to a VAG Part number of : 1Z0 907 115 - 0010 The new version of the software relates to VAG Part number of: 1Z0 907 115 A - 0040 The service campaign that this relates to is 24K5 This is the definitive way to check whether your ECU actually has the 24K5 update regardless of whether it's been claimed for. HTH
  2. Where did you buy your cable? Octavia II uses CAN to communicate with the instrument cluster, the old copies of VAG Tacho work on K-Line only as far as I know, although I don't own it. If you have a legitimate cable then I may I suggest contacting the people that make the software/hardware.

  4. You need to go back to your tuner, the car should never go in to a full-on regen if the DPF removal has been done correctly in the software.
  5. It's another VAG forum. We have opened this up on the Facebook page, so anything could turn up (FWD or Haldex)!
  6. I guess it's not so critical on a FWD car but matching the revs is better than making the car unstable when pushing on, and also kinder to the drivetrain.
  7. As Nick P has eluded to, we solve this problem. Having said that, you can still heel and toe without issue as the ECU takes the last input, hence you would brake and then blip the throttle.
  8. I will make the effort to attend this if possible.
  9. It definitely felt (and looks like) a misfire rather than fuel cut.
  10. It was another forum's day, but they haven't produced the numbers! Hopeing to get a mixture of cars.
  11. ECU update is 24K5 campaign (issued yonks ago?) and the coilpacks one was also a few months ago IIRC, or are these news ones?
  12. Hi Guys and Girls, We have spaces available on a Rolling Road day this Sunday! If you are interested, please call the office; 01623 33 22 33! Price is £40 on the day, or £30 if you call and pay before Friday 5pm! Cheers, Rob
  13. Required parts are steering wheel controller, wiring loom for wheel and the actual wheel and airbag. No tony I haven't forgot I've passed your PM to rob to get prices, we don't do much of the electrical side now and are keen to keep prices down so we don't keep things in stock and every job is quoted individually.
  14. Cruise control needs a new stalk but MFD controls should work, check the coding.
  15. Wow. I had the pleasure of doing work for Andrew and speaking with him and his Dad regularly throughout this year and last. I'm really saddenned to hear this and feel a bit numb. I don't really know what to say. RIP mate.
  16. The ECU calculates EGT on the AUQ engine.
  17. I don't have a Fabia. Can I still argue with everyone?
  18. As Tricky Red has said, any remap on your TSI ECU is traceable if the dealership looked hard enough for it, even if it was back to standard. The chance of it being found when back to standard is small but it is still there, and we would rather be honest with customers than make a sale under false pretenses
  19. Yes we've fitted them. MFSW doesn't work properly but a standard wheel will work fine.
  20. Is it not a bit early for winters? Still 15/16 degrees at night around here at the moment.
