Hi and welcome.
The body mods that you can get are mainly Milotek.
They are Skoda based.
Mmmm just had the new catalogue through and there are some beautiful bits in there.
As for performance as Steve said there are a few.
Have fun searching though.

Hi
It sounds like you need a little mod for the Immobiliser.
This is a little cable that goes on when the signal is low from the key to the ignition sensor part for the immobiliser.
That is about all I can remember.
But it does not cose alot I can remember that.
Lummoks I know could tell you more.
You could send him a PM or I am sure he will be along soon.
Or try a search on this as I know he has explained it in more detail before.

The Fabia`s never really did have a problem with the rear bearings.
The front ones they did to start.
You dont just fit the bearing on the fronts it is the hub and bearing
-
Hi yes it can.
Check to see if the brake lights come on.
That is one way to test it.
Good luck mate.

There are maps available for N/A what engine?

Hi
Try the voltage regulator.
Has the radio gone funny too and a funny smell?
They can also be present with this fault.
Do not replace the whole of the alternator.
You will find this is quite common.Replaced a few when I worked at a dealer.

Hi
I do not think that the glass sunroof was as standard on that car.
It should have climatic control.
So that would be another thing to keep an eye on.
But the Green Met. is lovely it was once called Green Magic.Like the pearlescent black.
Lovely car.

Hi and welcome.
Yes we do like a bit more info on your car as we are all Skoda nuts on here.
Pics are usually better.

The problem with the engines I think have been noted.
I worked for a Skoda dealer when these first came out.
Service manager then.
I also did the warranty for these.
The main problems was head gaskets on the 1.4 8v.
Coolant temp sensors.
Yaw angle steering sensors.
Alot of these problems was noted by Skoda and covered in to a 5th year of warranty.
Mileage depending on some.

Think that bank 1 is refering to the lambda probe.
This can alter the fuel mixture with the ecu.
So think it may want one of those.

Hi
Did you know that the Octavia won best towing car for a couple of years.
Cant remember which years as I am getting old now.
We can offer Custom-Code to help with performance.
This will take the bhp up to 120 and the torque goes from 155lb/ft to 185lb/ft
This could be another consideration for you. www.custom-code.co.uk

You have picked a lovely car there.
You will like it , its fantastic and you picked a great forum.
Everyone here is friendly and helpfull.

Hi
yes this is very common.
They will come on and off quite regulaly now.
It is worth getting this done ASAP as it WILL go again.
Sorry , but if the car is out of warranty it is still a cheap part.
But check with the dealer to see if this part has been put on to a 5 year warranty cover.

I would have thought that the extra oil would attract alot more dust as it would be quite sticky.
