Hi
No adjustments required.
Just replaces the origional air filter.
Will help breath better.
Long lasting , you just clean it and not too oily to damage anything.
Yes we have them in stock and can post one out to you.
Price to you

Now it's funny you should mention that.
On my last service at JBS I was told that there was 'Excessive movement in radiator lower mounts' and I also happen to know that Ic3man has been into Bickertons with a similar problem.
My RS has been noisy at cold start up from day one. Only ever happens first thing in the morning and I've never really worried about it but you've got me thinking now.
We thought that there must be something in this as we has you two in at almost the same time with the rad mounts.
Could be common , another one to keep an eye out for.
Nice one!

listen jbs' date=' ive already said the brakes are working fine and the lights.
the car doesnt move during the day, so like i said, i will, and have rang them this morning.
THANKS.
cheers taviaRS.[/quote']
Ok
I had a guy in to us a week or so ago that had no brake lights and he thought it was ok to drive.
I had spent 1hout 40 mins getting to work wednesday because of accident on motorway accidents betwenn jnc 31 and 29 as people was running up the rear of each other.
Just makes me concerned.
But if the lights are ok then scuse me for sounding harsh.
You know what your doing then.
-
Sorry but if the light comes on and it could be the brake light switch , it means you have NO brake lights.
If this is so and you are driving the car , you must sit at a standstill and expect a bump behind you.
It means NOW not in the morning , it is NOT road legal!!!

Hi Josh
Not bad 7.
How long is left?
Have you put this on the Seat sites?
-
The majority of bodywork claims have to have authorisation.
You get away with very little.
It is a computer that ok`s it first then it could request a visit from the area tech manager.
These are customer facing I am supprised that you have not seen one by now.
-
Hi no.
You have a seperate switch for the rad fan. This is located at the bottom of the radiator.
This may affect the fuel though as it monitors the engine temp and adjusts the fuel for cold starts.
Not a big job and if you have one and you think the temp guage is reading incorrect do it.
It`s easy.

Could it be something to do with the pads?
Are they low?
Fluid?
Or could you have a brake light out?
-
Slammin time is coming, Josh's Fabia willl be on stilts compared to the Banana.
Have you seen how low Josh`s car is?
Could do with stilts to get it over the speed humps.

Hi yes there is a mod and these have been known to do down.
Green and red if i remenber right.
Little loom.
Does work and is a cheep option.
There was an e mail sent to all dealers in regards these mods.
Could be cheeky and ask your dealer , wether they will help or not though is another thing.

Hi yes that is the right one.
4 pin green it should be.
There have been problems with these.
Make sure the engine is cold when you replace these.
Do not attempt it when it is hot.
But you will find it in the thermostat housing.
Just a clip holds it in.
Make sure the seal is seated correctly then just reclip.
It is that easy.
But please do it cold.
I have seen people who have been burnt with doing a simple job like this.

Hi we use the Lan pipe and Green Cotton Filter.
Looks and sounds great!
If you have a search for ABD you should find some great pics and write ups on these.

Sure this would be a good one for all who has had their car lowered.
Josh does do his homework very well and would not go for any rubbish to be fitted to his car.
So if anyone was thinking of this GB sure you would not be dissapointed as there probably has been alot of work put in to sourcing a good reliable company.
Is this right Josh?

Keep us all informed how it is going!
Sounds like fun

There are some metal engine covers available from the dealers.
These could help pretect the sump.
They can get rather expensive , but could be worth a look in to if you wanted prevention rather than cure!
-
You will find that engines throughout the VAG are the same.
All the PD130`s are ASZ the 150`s ARL.
The engines swap all throughout the group.
So will be the same parts too.
I have found this with servicing the group.
So yes is the answer.

Hi
The paint is covered by a 3 year warranty.
If your car is under 3 years take it to the dealers to have a look at.
I must admit as has been said , the Red does soak up the sun and can cause it to fade.
But if you take it to a dealer the worse they could say is no.
-
This is because the cable could be streached.
May be in need of a slight adjustment.
If it is covered under warranty they should do it FOC up to the first service.
After that it is classed as an adjustment and will be charged out.
But should not be a big job to do.
Get it done at the next service?

Anybody know the right part no for the front wishbone bush?is it pff85-201 or pff3-501(powerflex website does not list vrs as it has 19mm anti rollbar as tt/s3 etc not 21/23mm bar)
so i'm thinking maybe same setup as 2wd tt?which lists 2 bushes for early/late models' date='the latter being pff3-501 for wishbone part no 8no 407 161/162.Can somebody help me please had a look at wishbone to see if i could find a part no but couldn't:confused:
cheers[/quote']
You will find its the same as the Mk4 Golf.
So part number for the Powerflex bushes is
Front Wishbone Inner Bush ( front) PFF85-201
Front Wishbone Inner Bush( rear) PFF85-410
What you must remember with these bushes are with the prices are that that is a single bush.
You have to buy 2 to fit the car.
Hope this helps you if not you could always PM me and I will help.

What does this include? Also im having a real hard time getting it booked in to a skoda garage' date=' everyone is fully booked for almost a month if i want a hire car meaning it will be 2000 miles over its service recommendation! Could i get it serviced at VW or Audi and retain the warrenty (although theres only 2 or three months left)?
Woud changing the oil and oil filter keep me going untill i can get it sorted?
sugestions please....
thanks in advance.[/quote']
You do not have to book your car in to a dealers and have the service done.
With the introduction of block excemption you can go where you want for a service.
As long as the garage is VAT registered , use Genuine parts and stick to the Skoda service schedual it DOES NOT affect the warranty at all.
I was a service manager for a Skoda dealer and then a warranty claims administrator in all I have worked for Skoda dealers for 5 years.
I have seen some really poorly service cars which was all taxis but warranty was not affected.
But the likes of us still have the ability to check for fault codes on there too.
The 40k service is Oil , Air , Fuel , Pollon Filters ( Spark Plugs if you have a petrol one)
Brake fluid is required every 2 years , so keep an eye on that one.
Also be vary weary of the oil used.
It must be ok for the PD engines.
