  1. Hi

Yes we do the Green Cotton Air Filters.

I have them on order at the moment for the Superb.

It is worth calling in to see us and have a look at our rolling road printouts.

We have quite a few and the PD130 engine is great.

It remaps well and can improve the fuel consumption.

    www.custom-code.co.uk is the web site.

If I can help you further please feel free to get in touch.

    01246 455004 is Custom-Codes telephone number

    Thank you

    Sarah

  2. Is it just a remap you've had? If so you'll be looking at 218-220 bhp.

    Hi

Le has had a few mods along the way with us.

So when he came in James did him a Custom map.

This was able to take in to effect some of the mods that he has done.

I do know that when James came in he was impressed with the drive of the car.

Like he said get the back box sorted Lee and you will be getting more.

Keep an eye out for the Rolling Road days that will be coming up soon and we will put it on the rollers for you for a printout.

Glad you are having fun with it.

Was nice to meet the other Sarah

    Have fun

  3. Hi

Yes we are just off the Sheffield bypass just at the side of Autoworld.

We can offer all modifications including the remap.

Suspension , brakes , clutches , turbo`s we do the lot.

We can service your car even when it is still within warranty thanks to "Block Excemption".

    We also do fault diagnosis.

Our rolling road will hopefully be up and running soon too and then we have big rolling road days.

These are great fun and gives you the oportunity to put names to faces.

If you want any information on what we do you could check out our web site on www.jbsautodesigns.co.uk or just give us a call on 01246 455005

I come on here most days so you could also put a post on our site on this great friendly forum.

Anyway welcome to this forum as it is fun and friendly

    Thank you

    Happy New Year

    Sarah

  4. Remove the wire and try another dealer.

That is what I would do.

A simple test can be done with the wire on and off.

So take it off and try again.

Or just take the wire off and when it goes flat again inform the same dealer.

    Sarah

  5. Hi Sleeky

Yes there are a few remaps to look in to.

    We can offer you Custom-Code

    www.custom-code.co.uk is their web site.

Try to do a search on all the remaps their is.

Peoples opinoins will be I have this remap and it is great.

But you will find that as they have only experienced 1 remap then that could be tricky.

But if you search then you will see who has come across problems.

You will not get many people coming on and slating a company on here as this is not how it is done on this forum as we are freindly.

We can also offer you other tuning modifications if you require.

Welcome to this great forum I can assure you everything has been covered on here.

The engine that you have can also be found in the Fabia so you will find information on here for you.

Happy new year and happy searching

    Sarah

  6. Hi Yes we can offer you a remap that is switchable.

Custom-Code is a very good remap and you will not be disaponited with it.

    www.custom-code.co.uk

This is their web site and this will give you a bit more information.

If I can help you at all please just let me know.

It is switchable via a vagcom cable that you can get off e bay for £20.00 ish and a lap top.

We can show you how this is done when you have the remap done.

    You will not be disapointed

    Sarah

  7. It would be good to find out the spec of the clutch and ali flywheel, so people can compare what's available. To be honest IP didn't inspire me with confidence. I waved a hefty wad of money under mike's nose earlier in the year, but sacked it because of the doubts about their product. They probably do a good job, just a bad experience with me.

I think the spec of you clutch is fantastic.

That is some rating on your car.

I know it has the lovely BT but that is easily covered by this clutch.

I would say that the Flywheel will do you proud too.

Like we chatted the meat in the sandwich will look after you.

    Sarah

  8. Hi Chris

    Welcome to the forum.

You will not be dissapointed with your new purchase.

They are great cars and the Black is a lovely colour.

Dont know how the 2 cars will compare as I have not had much to do with the Clio`s.

But I am sure that someone would be able to help you as there are some clever people on here.

Anyway you will learn alot about your new car on here.

    Have fun searching

    Sarah

  9. Hi

Yes I would also say the same.

We can offer you Custom-Code but there are other dealers about too.

    www.custom-code.co.uk is their web site.

Phase 1 is generic or Phase 2 is full custom.

If this is your only mod then yes Phase 1 is the way to go.

Use the search button or check out the partners section as Nigel said.

Do check all of them though and dont be afraid to ask lots of questions to make sure you know that the tuner knows what they are on about.

  10. Well I have a JBS Kevlar clutch fitted and it's quite heavy' date=' certainly not stock like. Quite a few people have driven it and commented on how heavy it feels.

As for the Ali fly wheel there is no hint of chatter at idle. I had a very good listen to the IP 6 speed set up on an Octy vRS with the Ali fly wheel. Maybe down to who installed it in your case. Don't really know who supplies IP's fly wheels.[/quote']

    Hi Des

The technicians never had a problem with your clutch.

    You cannot call Darren Garth.

He has a 28" waist and built like a beanpole.

He did not have a problem with your car.

  11. Hi

We are always on the look out for more power and the means of getting the power down.

We do NOT use the Sachs clutches in the petrol cars as we do know that there have been problems.

The Sachs set up for the diesels are great and will carry on recomending them to all until the time comes (if there will be one ) when we know of any difficulty.

We have used this in a very fast 150PD with quite a few mods that has been up and down the track and done a few drag starts with no problem at all.

As for the Kevlar one we have been looking in to getting something better.

So now we are testing this one with sayberdylan.

We also have this set up for ColinD so we will keep you informed.

540lb/ft IIRC on this set up.

    Sarah

  12. Hi

We can post these filters out to you.

We have them in stock and do post out quite a bit.

We can also beat that price and we do sponsor this site.

We give you a 10% discount and the retail price is £40.95 + VAT

The postage on that filter is a little more expensive as it is in a large box and does weigh a bit.

But you are looking at £48.30 all in posted.

You could call me on 01246 455005 if it helps.

Thank you Fluff I remember you picking yours up.

    Sarah

  13. Hi

    That is their web site.

  15. Sarah

What bike? I ride A Mille

    Lance

I fell in love with the Mille as soon as it came out.

But I have a problem , my legs stop at the knees.

Am only 5ft 3" so I cant touch the floor on most bikes.

But I have a VRF400 mmm Black and Red with the usual single swinging arm and upside down forks.

My last learner bike was the Suzuki RG125 little pocket rocket.

    Mille mmmmm

    Sarah

  16. Hi mate

Yes you would possibly get a better response later in the day.

You was up with the lark ;)

Anyway good choice of car and as for modding we can offer you a remap.

    http://www.custom-code.co.uk/content/view/1429/238/

Have a look at the link I have sent you and you will see that a remap alone can take your bhp up to 140bhp

The PD engines are great for remaps

While you are waiting for a response from the others try searching the forum and soak up the wealth of knowledge on this very helpfull forum.

    Sarah

  17. Sorry to gang up on you Lance, but I have to disagree; having been driving a BMW, I believe it to be the car [/b']that encourages the driver to "generally not give a ****" about the other drivers on the road and personally, I blame it on the driving position :)

    Driving position?

    Is it radical?

I know I have a motorbike and that is a sports one.

The riding position on that is hard so makes you feel like your on a track.

But then I only get up to 60 quicly dont go over the speed limit ;)

The driving position in the Octavia I always thought to be great!

    What do you think?

    Sarah
