Hello and welcome to this forum.
You will not be dissapointed in your purchase.
Sarah

Would this be the 8v or 16v engine?
You could look on www.custom-code.co.uk as there are some gains to be had on the 16v engine.
If I can help just let me know

Hey I am.
But if you try Butts of Bawtry they have them miles cheaper than the dealer.
They even do a non genuine one.
Also try the likes of euro car parts.
The part number is 6U0253091HX if that helps.
I killed mine at 70k so I know how it feels when your cat dies :(

Hi Kris
We can offer you a great one that is rated up to 340lb/ft
It has been tested on the drag strip with a highly modified car , so we know this works.
If I can help you further please feel free to give me a call on 01246 455005.
Thank you

GLX is the equivelent to an ambiente.
Classic = LX
Ambiente = GLX
Elegance = slx
But this is a pre facelift so the LX etc applies

Hi and welcome.
The PD160 air intake is a good one.
Green cotton air filter is another.
Then you really NEED a remap.
Then loweriing springs.
Large brakes.
Eyebrows.
Exhaust
FMIC
Oh there I go again forget to shut up at times.
That is what I would do.

Well I think Skoda UK should read this thread and take note on what this forum means to them.
It is the good people of this forum that is helping to sell your cars.
So admit that you do read this forum and back us.
Dont work against us.
Also let Lummox do what he is good at and post on here!!!!
Sarah

Is that inc VAT?
This remap is

That is correct there are quite a few Custom-Code agents around.
They can help you with the remap so choose one that is local to yourself.
They will be able to show you how to change it back too.
If you need any help though you should contact Custom-Code on their number which is 01246 455004
Thank you

Hi yes it is wrong.
The part numbers you want are 6LL129618 and 6LL129621.
The retail price of these are £12.69 and £20.52 + VAT
Dont let them rip you off.

Are Subaru selling any cars?
Hi and welcome mate.
What a good choice you have made.
I started working for Skoda 6 years ago.
My son said no to me having a company car.
But then he changed his mind when the Octavia vRS came out.
So yes the jokes have gone!
Have fun on this site as it is very imformative and fun.

Well with these types of questions you will get people saying that they use brand a and this is better than brand b.
The best thing to do would do a search for what you are looking for.
I have seen many an argument arise after a question like that.
There are quite a few available for your car.
The PD130 engine is the same that is in the Fabia vRS.
So look at those power gains too as this could be matched with your car.
Thanks

Hi
10 Years for the perferation thing.
The best one was at the bottom of the rear window.
That could be worth a look too.
Sarah

He has about a 28" waist and is dainty.
Good lad and is very thorough.
Is it about time you called down to see us Lummox?
Sarah

You will find that an MOT tester who is on your side could help.
But it is easy for a diesel one to get away with it.
Did you get any warning lights on with the decat?
Sarah
-
Hi Phil
It is not the tester that requires being fooled but the machine.
Petrols have emmissions and diesels have smoke test.
So a diesel would get away with it but not the petrols I am afraid.
But another thing would be the lambda probe would possibly pick something up and put a warning light on the dash.

Lowering springs do help the handling quite a bit.
The PD160 intake will help the throttle response as with the Green Cotton Filter.
Remap will help with the grin factor.
We can offer Custom-Code that will take the bhp from 130 to 170.
But each to their own , it depends what you want.
Lowering springs will give you 30mm on the front and the rear.

It was bound to happen.
But as the world champion last year would you have thought that his previous team would have wanted to look after him?
Blimey I would have him in my team.....
Sarah

Hi and welcome.
You have picked the best day to join this forum as we have just been made posh.
If you want body kits try looking for Milotek
Do a search on this forum and on Google.
They specialise in them.
If you need any help we can get these too.
Plus a remap for your car to take it to 210bhp
Sorry but the list is never ending.
But I must say that I think the Yellow is the best colour for a vRS.
This is a personal opinion and I liked the colour the first time I set eyes on it in the dealership.
The first one was on the back of a transporter that was delivering us some new cars.
But I am hooked on the yellow.
Welcome mate.
Sorry I do go on a bit as I love these cars.....

Hi Tony
There could be a couple to choose from with the Felicia depending on the year.
Later ones you would have to buy the housing as they are like sealed in.
If it is a real early one then you will be ok.

I would love to add my 2p worth.
Having worked within the Rainworth place for well 5 years I have an opinon.
I worked at Worksop for nearly 3 years and self tought myself warranty and parts then picked up the service side.
I did have some help from then service manager Pete from Rainworth.
Then he left.
But Worksop WAS owned by Rainworth so they was keen to help
I was asked to go over there to do warranty as they was having problems.
I did eventually go after a while as Worksop lost the dealership.
After a couple of weeks it was obviouse to me that my new boss does not have the customer skills that I was used to.
I have reccomended some people to go there for repairs as I know that the head technician there is VERY good and does know his stuff.
But I could not do it now as the few that I reccomended to go there have been insulted.
I do not want the people to think that I think that is what I would do.
So I dont reccomend people to go there. It is a shame as they do have some excellent staff and I was extreamly sad to leave.
But hey I love this job too.
Why did I leave?
Mmm
Sarah

And so you should.
The Fabia is a great little car.
Welcome to the forum.
This is a grest place to get more info on your car and to find some other happy Skoda drivers.
