  1. My curfew was the street lights, my mum called my name not my mobile, I played outside with friends not online, if I didn't eat what mum cooked I didn't eat, sanitizer didn't exist, but you COULD get your mouth washed out with soap, I rode a bike with no helmet, getting dirty was OK, and neighbours gave a damn as much as your parents did. Re-post this if you drank from a garden hose and survived

  2. I'm raising money for The Prostate Cancer Charity by taking part in Tour Ride 2011 - Stoke-on-Trent. Please sponsor me at www.virginmoneygiving.com/RichardNicholls

  3. Curry eaten - from Shimla Palace at Wolsley Bridge's. Very nice. And a couple of beers too......after a few good hard bike rides there is not much better.

  4. OK - it looks like I can't get the Cannondale before 23rd June, so I'll be looking at a different brand. Not interested in another Specialized (have one) so what would my cycling friends recommend at a price between ?1800 and ?2000? I've looked at a Giant TCR Composite 1 and a Felt F4. The Trek Madone 4.5 looks nice too!Anyone with any experience of riding these bikes?

depends on the sort of riding your going to do. I've got a santa cruz heckler and use it for xcross country and its brill. also had giant faith for downhill and that was good too

      He's looking at roadies mate!

I bought a Ribble, full 12k weave carbon monocoque, Campag 2011 Chorus 11 speed groupset, Campag scirocco clincher wheels, under your budget. A little rocketship, climbs brilliantly, even with my 'well nourished' carcass on board!

you can spec up every component as you want, & you've got something different to the herd!

  5. Sat at the cafe in the sun. Nice.

  6. I'm going to the Beehive.

  8. The Paris - Roubaix - The Hell Of The North. One hell of a bike race. All you footballers should bow down to these Spartans of the sporting world and feel humbled. What a race.

that gets my vote. Cancellara did well to come second.

  9. Is it just me, or does the Centaur Statue in Uttoxeter look like it's playing air guitar?

  10. Been for a nice ride in the sun - a good choice not to work my ARD.

  11. Do I work my ARD or not? Well, what a conundrum I'm in.

  12. Dinner cooked and eaten- I did Baked Chicken and Chorizo and had it with salad and Chili Pasta (lots of pasta). Washing up done and kitchen cleaned. I'm becoming a bit of a domestic type!

  13. Sat at the cafe @ Fradley in the sunshine.

  14. Morning world - I hope the weather lives up to the hype today coz I'm planning a big bike ride!

  15. Washing up done, floors mopped, Car washed - only the dentist to go!

  16. Is having a nice day off.

  17. Tour Of Flanders 2011, a beautiful race and a very impressive finish. I was on the edge of my seat while watching the last 90K. Well done to Nick Nuyens but what a shame for Silvan Chavanel, the man of the race in my opinion.

  18. A very small portion of chips along with a single fish-cake for tea tonight. I'd cook but we've got nothing out of the freezer!

  19. Well, the 3 Days De Panne had a bloody exciting finish.

Looked pretty mundane as sprints go

  20. Bike ride done, bike washed, car washed and now time to bleach the sink, do the washing (and washing up) and cook my dinner - and my wife claims I don't do anything around the house!

  21. Sat at the cafe at Fradley in the sun.

  22. Blimey - it's gone cold out there!

  23. Cycled to the cafe and had a toasted tea cake. Now for gallons of tea and a sit in the spring sunshine.
