Best tip I can give is leave it the full 10 mins to cure, depending on weather conditions of course.
Apply it using a good quality detailing sponge applicator.
And use very sparingly, a little will go a long way.

Do I order some carbon collective platinum wheels?
Only problem is I've only just bought some mint rims from auto finesse, or do I use the clarity from marks GB?

It isn't on the website yet - as per my post - this is only a trial production run.
Samples are going out to limited AD field trialists - not officially retail as yet.
With you saying (being released) I assumed it was available to buy, also like I said I saw it on FB.
Maybe I should pester AD and see if I can sample one? Or is it only the privileged??

Couldn't agree more, I'd love to try some of these boutique waxes and see how they stack up against abyss, for me it's just a perfect all rounder. I've done 3 cars in abyss now and all have been the best details I've ever done.Now look what youve done Carl :clap: ...........Told everyone and now theyll all want it, making another sale doubtful!!
I did my bonnet over the top of my homemade hybrid after it stopped raining this afternoon
Its really easy to use and a very very light spray on a sponge applicator did the whole bonnet and both front wings!!

I have to give credit to the product as I'm still a novice at this game.
I do think your car suits sealants Chris, but then again it always looks stunning!
I may still pop over tomorrow depending on weather if that's still ok?

The decontamination process you describe will clean up the paintwork ready for the Abyss
You can, of course, just lay it straight on, but it will last longer on cleaned paintwork

Preferably start again to get your hellshine down as its a sealant it will sit better on your paint.
But I have put abyss over the top of other waxes before and it still works.
Enjoy the abyss, I've just updated my thread actually lol weird.

Used my spray version of abyss I bought in the AD sale today.
I have to say it's equally as good as the paste version, I only did the bonnet but it looks just the same as the paste did and it takes seconds to apply and it's much easier to get a very thin coat.
And I think it will literally last forever as I used 1 spritz to do the whole bonnet and that seemed too much so I used it to spread along wings so not to waste any.
I then left it 10 mins gave it the swipe test and buffed off to perfection.
It's still my favourite wax sealant I've used to date, I wander if AD actually know how good this wax/sealant is, id have paid double for either the spray or paste versions.

As mark said , buy the equipment yourself and have fun with it.
Tbh you will probably do a better job than the dealer on your first attempt and I don't rate life shine at all, much much better out there at half the price.

Looks great, I had a hot chocolate metallic mini clubman and the paint on that was nice to work with.
Deep gloss achieved there though mate well done, I do love that green.
