  1. I've not used blue velvet but I love purple haze, so as Chris recommend why not top up with that wax I'm sure it will add some lustre too.

And as northern monkey said artdekotsos is just lovely to work with and durability is cracking. The results are also second to none. Well worth a sample pot if you fancy trying it.

  2. I agree with chris, light coloured vehicles do seem to look better wearing sealants abyss being one of them, I also think none metallics look better with sealant over wax too, but that's just my opinion.

I'd love to get out and use some tomorrow on mine but apparently we have a fair amount of snow to come again tomorrow.

By the way jetseal 109 is also a quality sealant, infact I think the first ever product I was recommended on here by chrisRs too, quite some time ago. It was that and collinite 845.

  3. if it's any help I've used both the tub and the spray and being a non expert found the spray easier to use this time of year, but even then you have to put it on REALLY thinly or else you risk not all of it will cure, so like me you end up with some smears, though as I'd also got some hellshine QD in their Christmas sale that sorted it the next day. The depth of shine is excellent and the car seems to stay cleaner for longer too. Just got to have a clear out of my other LSPs now LOL.....

forgot to add it takes a fair while to cure in low temperatures, far longer than it says in the instructions and tne paint needs to be really clean to get the best durability from it.

It's a quality product, I too have both spray and paste.

Paste is my favourite but that's only because I find waxing more enjoyable, the spray sealant is easier no doubt. But the end result is pretty much the same, endless levels of gloss and durability to see off waxes at triple the cost.

    It's a no brainier.

  4. Initialy I wanted to order a Yeti Elegance 1.4 tsi Outdoor, but personally I liked the City version more.

So at the end I decided to go for the City version, my brother in law ordered the Outdoor.

See attached photo of our Yeti's.

Ik don't think you will regret the model /colour scheme you now have ordered.

Recently changed the 17 inch Scudo rims for the 17 inch Hawk version.

Interesting seeing them side by side, I still prefer the outdoor but each to their own.

The White wheels do look nice.

  5. Not looking good for me getting these samples out by this week guys, still hasn't arrived due to the weather and I'm busy all next week unfortunately.

So it could be a couple of weeks before I get samples out.

I think I will have 10 sample pots, like I said there are some who's opinions I want so I will be handing out to those and I also want some of the none obsessed new to detailing lot too.

I will make a list shortly.

For those who get picked all we would like in return for the sample is a simple review good or bad.

  6. Hi everybody - am now coming over to this section because I have ordered a new Yeti (due in March). I am currently a Roomster owner. She has never missed a beat in three years and has been 100% safe, comfortable and reliable. As the time gets closer to the new arrival I must admit I am really looking forward to getting the Yeti but that is also tinged with sadness at the prospect of handing over the trusted Roomie. I currently have everything crossed that the Yeti will be as reliable and faithful in her service!!

Congrats on the order, what model and extras if any did you go for?
