  1. I am still using it

    Really rate it

    Great beading too

Good man, I think it's a quality QD.

My car looks shocking at the moment.

What did you use lsp wise on Amy's car chris? It's still beading beautifuly.

As for testers I've spoken to Steve tonight and he said Optiseal (maybe due to change name) thanks Chris. Will be in 50ml spray bottles for sample and he said this should be enough to do a medium sized car around 3 times.

It's best applied with a microfibre pad or foam pad as thin as possible, leave for 10 mins to cure then buff , it's safe to use on all plastics too.

He's sending 5litres of it via currier tomorrow so I'll get it decanted into the 50ml bottles and get them sent out.

I will be choosing a selected few who's opinion I really respect as well as a few others to give some of you guys who are not obsessed a go too.

    Watch this space.

  2. Optimum do Optiseal Carl

It might be worth mentioning the possible implications of that with Steve

However..If its as good as the other products ...its a winner

Good call Chris, I don't know why he never checks these things out first, hope he doesn't read this but my wife's side of the family are not right in the head lol.

Cheers for the heads up Chris, and I totally agree the first 2 products have been winners imo.

Are you still using Optigloss Chris? You took enough :)

  3. Looks lovely, I can't see the pictures very well as when I click on them nothing happens, but I'm glad you are happy with it, I've had my L&K now for around 4 month and I love it, but I'm quite biased as this is our third yeti.

My wife still has an elegance too.

Good luck with it, many happy more miles to ya ;)

  4. So a further update reveals its a spray sealant that's coming out called "Optiseal" (we could have guessed the name) anyway despite that it sounds really promising.

I've be been told it's a spray sealant like abyss by AD (bold claim I know) with abyss being probably my favourite wax/sealant I will be very sceptical.

Anyway I've been sent a preview image of beading and it looks good.

I'm really excited to try this product, and I'm hoping it should be by the end of this week, im not sure what size sample bottles will come in as I believe it's one of those (a little goes a long way)

I will keep this page up to date as I receive info and testing dates.

    Thanks for looking all.

  5. We have around 5inch or so in queenbury at the moment. It just hasn't stopped today.

Loving the yeti's performance in the snow, mine is on summer rubber and the wife's is on winter treads and while hers has much better traction and stopping tread I have to say the summer rubber I'm on is actually performing really well.

The Haldex system on the yeti is out of this world though, I've shot past some cars double the price of mine that should not be doing so bad considering them being 4x4s

  6. Hi all, just a bit of an update. There is a possibility of a third Optiline product due for testing. I won't say what it is just yet as I'm not 100% certain but after speaking with Steve who brought Us optishine and Optigloss it sounds promising.

Anyway he's asked if anyone who has tried the 2 products could leave a bit of a review he will probably add you to the trials of the new products.

So if anyone who has used the products could leave a review I will forward them on to Steve to add to the upcoming website and I will keep you guys in the loop about the new products coming up for trials shortly.

    Thanks in advance guys.

    Carl.

  7. Is Dodo Juice lime prime likely to do anything bad?

I know this isn't really what it's for, but it's all I've got at present. It does have mild abrasive properties and did a good job on reducing swirls on my paintwork...

Give it a try it won't do any harm Karl.

  8. Going off topic Dinski, good memories of winters back in West Yorkshire. If we had snowfalls like that here on the Isle of Man it would be declared a disaster area. They panic when we get half an inch overhere!!!!! Mind you are on the top of the hill living in Queensbury.

    Tony

I've gone from that pic to down south and there's not a drop of snow insight.

I always forget your originally from West Yorkshire. The Isle of Man is lovely though so I don't blame you for moving.

As for the car now it's covered in salt again and looks nothing like the picture now.

  9. Don't know when your back but Queensbury should get a good whack. Seems to snow up there in summer!

Was snowing a tiny bit in Bradford when I passed through around 8:30 tonight.

We've had about 2 inch so far, yeah it is Yorkshires version of the Arctic here lol.

Setting off today around 10am then back on Friday.

So I get to have a little play before I set off.

    Enjoy the snow guys.

Just took this, 2 yetis 1 has good camouflage
