Weitec GT Coilovers

From those that have used these coilovers on the Fab VRS, whats your overall opinion of them?

I'm usually very wary of cheap coilovers, BUT, if people are using them to good effect, i'll gladly spend the money.

I imagine the ride will be firm, but thats ok really. Anyone had any leaking issues? Broken parts? etc etc.

They aren't cheap, i'd say mid-range... they are just shy of £500 so only ones better are Eibach, Koni and KW

Looking at a set myself and various people i've spoken to say the AP coilovers are just as good, the only difference being the bump stops and plastics.

Weitec are a brand of KW and are good quality

I think quite a few people have them me included and I personally think they are spot on

I havent heard anything bad about them anyways

I have Weitec Gt's on a mk4 Polo - they lasted 8 years of abuse with 3 owners after me!

Yep, I've got them and I'm really pleased with them. AP's go lower though and perform very similarly.

Seem to get good reviews and yes, they use KW components on them. Price wise I'd say they were mid-range.
