A neat solution

I was looking at parking sensor kits the other day, and I came across This very neat, I thought, though not cheap.

I agree entirely -but, if you don't want ugly sensors, or drilling holes in bumpers, it looks a good idea.

I've seen people mount the external ones on tail lights, always look a bit "tacked on", only other option is to buy a cheap kit and remove \ fit flush within the black strip, then buy another black strip when time comes to sell.

Drove it on Saturday (it had to come from Vx central stock), and fell in love with the V6 diesel engine. It's got the same power output as my existing Omega (170bhp-ish), but 100lb/ft extra torque! And it's very quiet and refined. That, and the extra 15 MPG (25 Vs 40) sold it to me. And the comfy leather seats and lots of toys, obviously!

I pick it up tomorrow evening, insurance and finance permitting......

seen the number plate style ones a while ago and been thinking about it, but you can buy em yourself from ford for about 100 nicker and fit your self, can't be hard

We got them no plate ones at work,

My advice dont bother. Massive pain running the wire into the tailgate then up through the trunking.

I was thinking the same myself. My new car's got a towbar, so maybe I'll use that as a "parking probe"
