I think it'd be a bit rude to show up and declare mine the best on the forum however I spent a while mucking around with the camera so I'm going to post it here too:

:smirk:

I really like this one, hopefully I get mine soon so I can post it up

Really nice photo!! Soooo clear, I want some nice photos of my car:(

Thanks!

I'm based in and around Sheffield, wouldn't mind doing a few shots if people wanted?

Any location is good as long as its not the middle of the day. Oh yeah, its so much easier for cars that aren't black (or nigh on black!)

No it wasn't even from a particularly expensive place. I got in touch with the guy from touch-ups in Glasgow who do a lot of work for members of SVAG forum and do discounts for members. They are very highly thought of and by all accounts very reasonably priced. The guy was quite frank about it actually being quite a long job as there is such a large gap of nothingness behind the plate mount which has to be strengthened and covered then the work of hand finishing it to look totally smooth. He was almost apologetic about the fact it would cost that much and indicated he had heard of a company who were either making or planning to make bumpers which were pre-smoothed and that this may be a better way to do it if I could find the company.

I did just remember my cousin is a bodywork specialist and just opened his own coachworks so I might give him a call...

I do understand that their is alot of work to do that mod, perhaps thats what it costs.. im sure you can get it cheaper but at the end of the day you will get what you pay for, and you dont wanna have just filled up and then start to sink. Pre smoothed bumper sounds good, means you can keep a standard one for selling it on!!

Haha hard to tell as fitted the rear ARB bar at the same time as lower it some more, would say higher was better tho as there was alot less bounce in the suspension so felt more planted on bends..

But its sticks to the road like glue now with the ARB on smoother bends..

Where did you buy your Alloys from? From the pics, they look a very nice finish. Most of the ones i've seen on the Web are too shiny and cheap looking! Ta!

Got them from http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/17-new-rs4-alloy-wheels-fits-audi-vw-skoda-seat-golf-t4-/230363992700?pt=UK_CarParts_Acc_Wheels_tyres_Trims_Car_Rims_ET&hash=item35a2c3927c#ht_2328wt_1139

I called them up too price match and got them for £359 with new wheel nuts and looking nuts, the finish does seem very good on them not found any defects in the paint... Will see how they cope with all the salt on the roads.

This one wins for me, although I would never say any cars 'Best' because its personal chioce and on the other hand someone could have the most mental idea in the world but not the money to back it up!

Fabia R32 anyone?
