I think all 16 channels need to be none zero which is why I set all unused profiles to 1.

Regarding the colours I'd like to link to some driving modes, since I'd like to keep the colour setting free for comfort & normal modes, I had assumed they could remain set to 0.

Am I wrong?

All driving modes will need a colour selected. As mention before, all 16 "Ambientelicht Zuordnung der Farbe zum Fahrprofil-Fahrprofil" channels need a none zero value.

 

One driving mode can be customised and will use the colour selected in 'manual'. This is done by setting the "Ambiente_Fahrprofil_Individual" channel to that driving mode. In my example, it's set to 7 so "individual" can have the colour changed.

 

This customised colour was the feature I had issue with until the CAN-gateway firmware was updated...

 

If you end up with a disco mode (colour changed twice a second) on the headunit, set "Ambiente_Fahrprofil_Individual" to an unused profile like 6 or 9. You'll loose the ability to set it via manual mode I'm afraid though 😞

Two more things I need help with:

 

1. Is there a way to postpone Auto Off? My car sometime just turn off before I stopped it completely. I would love to change this if possible.. (I think my previous car was shutting off after I press harder on the brake)

 

2. Is it possible to change time when lane assist warning will pop up? Like now when LA is active and I'm not holding the steering wheel, I got this after 10sec. I prefer to increase this a bit, and not because I want to seat back, just is annoying when I'm driving straight, and there is no resistance on the steering wheel..

Unfortunately.....

 

Although with #2, it can b done with VCP/ODIS by using a modified parameter file.  It increases the time to up to 30 secs or so.

Engine shuts off under 5 km/h, but I fear this can't be tuned (at least not with VCDS).

Not very safe when arriving gently at round about and intending to insert in the traffic without fully stopping. It happened to me 3-4 times with my wife's Audi Q3 with mechanical gear box. It's really stressful 'cause engine can even stall and you're stuck in the middle of the round about, traffic rushing towards you. It lasts waaaaaaaay too long before you understand what happens (at least for the 1st time) and know how to get out of this tricky situation (just press couch pedal and restart with key). Only happened once with my DSG6 Mk3. Engine restarted on its own (hopefully).

@GizmoHi have a Superb SE L TDI DSG on a 72 reg wondered if you can code in lane assist and sign recognition as well as close boot from centre console. Also if you can let me know if there is anything else you think it’s worth coding in. I’m only in margate so can easily get to you.

Hi, I haven't plugged into one this new, but I assume they are now all protected by SFD? If so then it's not something I can do until VCDS can obtain an SFD token.

Au existat câteva îndrumări aproximative cu privire la valorile RGB, dar am vrut să urmăresc un aspect OEM+. 

Mi-am luat ceva timp pentru a construi un palet de culori de 30 de culori pe baza celor 10 originale care vin ca standard.

În loc să încerce să unesc punctele uitându-mă la valorile RGB brute, am construit un gradient pentru cele 10 valori RGB din originale. Apoi am făcut referire la 30 de culori din gradient și am notat valorile.

 

Mai jos sunt valorile inițiale ale ecranului, gradientul și cele 30 de culori alese.

 

 

Banda de iluminare ambientală folosește valori diferite de față de valorile ecranului, interesant totuși, valoarea de alb din banda de lumină ambientală este de fapt verde deschis, dar apare albă pe bandă.

there is a setting "Light Sensor sensitivity" in the infotainment, under Light Settings, to select Early, Medium or Late for the auto headlights.

have u tried that?
