Colour Maxi Dot or LED Package

Recommended Posts

Hi Just ordered SE Business 150 Combi in Candy White, added Pegasus wheels, Spare Wheel & Colour Maxi Dot.

Now thinking that should swap Colour Maxi Dot to LED Package.

Car is a PCH for 2 years so no long term plans to keep.

Would be interested in hearing views of anyone who has had both.

Go with both if you can, in the grand scheme of things they don't cost much, Maxi Dot around £75 or so, which only adds a quid or 2 to the monthly payments. Both are well worth adding.

LED package is only available on the SE-L and L&K isn't it?

I believe that you are correct, the Skoda SE Business Range Brochure dated July 15 doesn't show the LED Package as an option on the Superb SE Business.

  • 3 weeks later...

Question for those with an L&K on the note of INTERIOR LED PACKAGE, inside the arm rest there is a tiny white rectangle on the back wall. I've always presumed it's a light for the arm rest compartment.

Today I was in a dealership looking at an SEL Exec with the Interior LED Package. Inside the armrest, the white rectangle wasn't lighting up at all. I pulled it out slightly out of the housing and can see it is connected to a wire inside just like the glove compartment light etc... But it looked like a 'dummy'. I asked the salesman what it is, and in stead of saying the light must be faulty/dud, he said only L&K trims have a light there?!

So, my question, do those with an L&K have a light inside the arm rest?

And also, to those with any other trim and the Interior LED Package (which I initially presumed would make the interior lighting identical to the L&K interior, except for the rear passenger door puddle lights still being reflectors), do you have a light inside the arm rest?

Yes to the L&K question.

Interesting... So perhaps it was a faulty light? Let's see what someone with the SEL Exec and the LED package says. If they say no light, then that's two features the L&K has over the £195 Interior LED package.

I have the SEL EXEC with the LED Light Package, I have just checked, I have the light in the centre armrest compartment, I had to have at least the side lights for it to illuminate, hope that helps.

That's really helpful thanks! So it needs other lights enabled in order for the arm rest to work. By side lights do you mean exterior side lights (parking) or do you mean something on the interior?
