Eibach springs from Mk4 to a Fabia VRS??

As stated in my previous thread I collect my VRS next week when I will be trading in my 02 mk4 golf TDI, Does anyone know are the suspension in both cars the same? As I have a set of near new eibach springs that I have now removed from my mk4 and I was wondering would they fit the VRS instead of having to sell and buy new ones?

Would suspect they're not the same as they're based on different platforms. The Eibach website lists two different part numbers for them too so I guess they're not compatible

Eibach have different part numbers for Golfs with the same engine but with and without aircon!

There is no way that the Golf springs would be compatible on the Fabia, Polo springs would be closer but I would imagine still not compatable.

You'll love the Fabia by the way- I prefer SWMBOs to my Golf in many ways:(
