Sunshades on FL Octavia

Featured Replies

I was thinking of getting some of these, has anyone on here used this company and has any comments as to how good the shades are ?

ive seen good comments

They are fantastic. The rear passenger windows are one piece, and the rear window is in 2 sections, the join being down the middle. You can still wind windows down and from a distance they look like tints. I have had them on last 2 cars, previous to that I had after market tints. Blinds are cheaper and are sellable on e.g. e-bay when changing cars.

but WILL THEY FIT THE FL

but WILL THEY FIT THE FL

Yes, i just fit all 5 into our new L&K estate, easy done!!

think i'd like some of these as well, wonder if they'd entertaiin a group buy at discount?

i see these appear to have the clips 'stick' (glue?) to the frames - is this how the Skoda OEM shades fit too?

There is no glue involved in fitting the clips for the Skoda OEM shades. I have them fitted to my Octavia FL and the clips just slide behind the rubber trim.

Does the window open with shades or it must remain closed?

On the official Skoda ones that I have, you can open the windows with the shades in place.

TOP! cheers.

I shall email them and see if i can work a discount

i must admit, i'm more swung to the oem blinds as they clip rather than stick - unless there is a decent discount!

these clip as well

My other half got these things in her swift sport.. Looks like the windows are actually tinted until you have a closer look :)

May invest in some my self for the Vrs.. But only after peeps get some more pics up ...

Do i hear a group buy?

these clip as well

in the ebay ad it looks like the clips themselves are stuck to the frame/rubber with a self adhesive backing. As far as i know the oem jobbies have the clips slide into the window rubbers without adhesive. Grateful if people with either can confirm?

I have the OEM ones and the clips attach to the metal of the door, you just peel the rubber trim back slightly. Dead easy to install but very secure.

I have managed to wangle a 20% discount on the product and then to pay for postage, this may also be beter if we have a member in the mannsfield area who could collect them from the company and then we can pay for postage.

they want a minimum of 15 orders, I MAY be able to push that a bit more if i can get the order higher

Anyone got a picture? May be interested but the eBay pic doesn't show the product!!!

Thanks

thats a pretty decent discount - effectively £60 ish plus postage if my maths are ok. Could you confirm how the clip part fixes to the car?

cool :)

  • 2 weeks later...

Looking at shades for our car now little one is here and summer's coming.

Like the UV shades, but not keen on the 2 piece rear blind. Has anyone found an OEM brand that has a roller one piece affair like the Skoda one?
